More Screen Time, Better Bonding: Parents are Using Wonder’s AI to Connect With Their Kids!

Even the most tech-savvy and engaged parents are overwhelmed by the task of keeping their kids safe online. We built an advanced AI powered platform that listens to parents to help keep kids safe, while helping them explore.
Wonder parents love seeing what their kids were up to, but they wanted an easier way to get an overview.
So of course, we put AI to work for all of our families! We introduced personalized Activity Summaries at the end of each child’s Wonder session. It delivers a summary overview of their online activities via text message or email. And parents LOVE it!
Parents love activity summaries!
How do we know? A recent survey of our families revealed that these summaries are incredibly popular among Wonder parents. 100% find them helpful in connecting with and learning about their kids and express a desire to receive them regularly. It’s helping them be better parents.
They shared that the summaries not only help them start meaningful conversations with their children but also allow them to better understand their interests and curiosity. These insights encourage and support stronger connections between parents and their children. That makes us smile.
Every family is different, so we’ve also designed this with customizable notifications in mind. Parents can receive weekly or daily summaries via email or text message. This is all configurable in the settings panel in each child’s profile.
Get warning signs fast
In our commitment to ensuring child safety, we’ve also developed the Child in Danger Alert. If a child is using the app and brings up topics of self-harm, or anything that might indicate they are in danger, parents can be sent an alert immediately. This feature and our Activity Summaries feature are a powerful combination that instantly keeps parents informed.
In the interest of children’s safety, Hello Wonder is always looking for ways to help parents more and improve the user experience. We’re currently developing a feature that allows parents to receive a summary of all the app activity on their device, even outside of Hello Wonder. This parental control would help ensure that parents are fully aware of what their child is engaging in, even if they can’t monitor them personally.
If you want to know more about what your kid is interested in and up to online, we'd love you to join Wonder on the Apple app store, or visit our website for Android.
